The Rainbow (by Susan Jane Hobbs)_
Elusive,
mystical,
Intricate but beautiful,
With colours so bright,
Yet
looking so tranquil,
Children follow it,
Lovers live on it,
Dreamers
chase it,
But none fulfill the desire to hold it.
But it shines
Together with rain and sunshine.
And as if to remind us
That after
sorrow comes hope,
After heartbreak comes cheer,
After rain comes
sunshine
And the rainbow.
